One winner will be chosen through a random drawing to receive a $50 gift certificate to be used at ECD’s tree, native plant, and website sales.

Terms and Conditions: 

To enter, submit photos of trees and shrubs that are native to Michigan or species that have been included in recent conservation district sales or distributions. 

Close-up photos of a leaf, fruit, nut, flower, and bark are all appreciated. Photos that include a full image of a tree or shrub are helpful, too. Photos during different seasons that highlight unique characteristics of the plant are also welcome.

*Photos must be taken in Michigan. You do not have to live in Eaton County to participate, and you need not be present to win. 

*Pictures may be taken anywhere in Michigan, including natural habitat. We would especially love to see photos of trees purchased from a conservation district tree sale. 

*There is no limit on photo entries.

*Photos need to be in focus, appropriate for publishing, and not contain people or identifying features.

*Only color photos are accepted.  

*All entries become the property of Eaton Conservation District. The District reserves the right to use all photographs in publications for educational and promotional purposes and share with other Michigan Conservation Districts, as well as the Michigan Association of Conservation Districts for the same purposes.

* The winner will be selected through a drawing using a random number generator and will be announced in November.

Entries will be accepted through November 1st, 2025 via submission link or by stopping into the office to drop off your photo.
