Well Water Testing
Annual well water testing is recommended by the State of Michigan to stay informed on contaminants that can affect your health and wellbeing. The Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assessment Program (MAEAP) offers local conservation districts funds and assistance to support basic residential well water testing for nitrates & nitrites.
Screening is available at all events and at the office.
To participate in the Eaton Conservation District's annual well water testing event, bring the form below as well as a water sample from your residential well to get tested for nitrites and nitrates.
Instructions for collecting your sample:
All waters samples should be collected from a source that does NOT run through a softener system.
