Enterprize Apple
Min. Caliper: 5/8”
Root Stock: EMLA 111
Enterprize Apple is a late-season, disease-resistant apple known for its bright red, glossy, medium-to-large fruit. The thick, chewy skin helps protect against scab, fireblight, and cedar apple rust, while the yellow, medium-grained flesh is juicy and flavorful. Sweet when freshly picked, its taste develops more tartness after about a month in storage, making it excellent for fresh eating, baking, and extended winter storage. Enterprize Apple trees are vigorous, upright growers with a rounded crown, bearing fruit annually with proper pruning.
Requirements:
Light: Full sun
Soil: Well-drained, moderately fertile soil
Key Features:
Mature Size: 18–25+ feet tall (depending on rootstock)
Harvest Period: Late October to early November
Wildlife Value: Provides fruit for humans; flowering supports pollinators
Pollination: Requires a different apple variety with overlapping bloom period
Plant Care:
Enterprize Apple thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Trees are semi-dwarf or standard depending on rootstock and bear fruit annually when pruned correctly. Ripening occurs in mid-to-late October, and the apples persist on the tree if not harvested promptly. This variety is ideal for home orchards seeking a hardy, flavorful apple with excellent disease resistance and storage quality.

*A mature height of less than 15 feet is recommended for trees planted near power lines. Tall growing trees should be planted a minimum of 20 feet away from power lines, and 50 feet away to avoid future pruning.
*This plant will be packaged as "bare root". Bare root plants have no soil around their roots. Bare root trees, shrubs, and perennials must be planted as soon as possible before growth begins. Find care and planting instructions here: https://www.arborday.org/trees/planting/bare-root.cfm
