Honeyoe Strawberry

from $18.00

Age: 1yr

The Honeyoe Strawberry plant is a hybrid cross of Vibrant and Holiday Strawberries to create a consistent producer that is cold-hardy and self pollinating. The Honeyoe Strawberries will start producing fruit after the second year of growing and tends to be ready to harvest for 2-3 weeks in the June.

The strawberries grown on this plant are very large and sweet. Can be eaten fresh or can be frozen to eat later, keeping its flavor even after being frozen. Plant in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Mulch to hold moisture and prevent weeds. Fertilize the previous Fall, before fruit growth, and plant in rows that are three feet apart, with each plant at least 1 foot apart from each other.

This plant will be packaged as "bare root". Bare root plants have no soil around their roots. Bare root trees, shrubs, and perennials must be planted as soon as possible before growth begins.
