Slit Tube Tree Shelters – 48 inches Tall (Includes 48" Hardwood Stake)
Protect your young trees with durable, easy-to-install slit tube shelters. Each 48-inch tube fits trees up to 4 inches in diameter and includes a solid hardwood stake and zip ties for secure installation.
These shelters are made from recycled milk jugs, making them an environmentally friendly choice and they can be reused as your tree outgrows them. Their rigid, UV-stabilized design provides 4–5 years of protection from wildlife, wind, and herbicide exposure.
The slit design allows for quick installation and easy maintenance without removing the tube, while ventilation holes ensure proper airflow. A flared top helps prevent damage from sharp edges, and the open base allows space for herbicide application if needed. Mesh cap included.
